Cornerstone OnDemand and Turner Broadcasting System to Co-Present at the HR Technology Conference & Expo
Turner’s VP of Talent Management to discuss the company’s holistic approach to managing and developing its global workforce and filling leadership pipelines
Santa Monica, Calif., September 23, 2009 – Cornerstone OnDemand Inc. (Booth No. 308) today announced that Michele Golden, Turner Broadcasting System Inc. Vice President of Talent Management & Diversity, will present with Cornerstone’s Vice President of Global Account Services, Frank Ricciardi, at next week’s HR Technology Conference & Expo, to be held at Chicago’s McCormick Place. The session, entitled “Turner Broadcasting Produces a Talent Management Program,” is scheduled for Friday, October 2 from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in Room N226.
During the session, Golden and Ricciardi will discuss the business benefits of taking an integrated approach to learning and talent management. Golden also will share insight into Turner’s decision to take a holistic approach to managing, developing and retaining its 11,000 employees worldwide – and across several distinct news and entertainment brands such as CNN, TBS, TNT and Cartoon Network. This includes how Turner’s Talent Management team reevaluated its strategy, role and processes in key areas such as performance management, succession planning, and learning and development to better align with the company’s key business objectives.
Equally important was choosing the right technology solution that could support Turner’s new integrated talent management strategy and help to streamline and simplify internal human resource processes. Other objectives included enhancing the user experience and improving the company’s intelligence about its internal talent.
